Tintin calendar 2026

The adventures of Tintin and Snowy have given us countless images of the world.

These reflections of an era that was a mirror of our twentieth century stand as lively, lifelike witnesses to the exploits of the famous little reporter from the world of fiction. Hergé, the creator of this stratospherically popular series, regales us with snapshots of more topics than you could possibly imagine.

The driving force behind this great fresco of speech bubbles and frames is, however, the action.

On land and sea, under the water and in the air, nowhere is safe from Tintin.

He climbs, swims, scales, parachute jumps and horse rides.

Our hero  is always in his element, whether he is in a diving suit or sat in the saddle.

And the Thom(p)sons, Professor Calculus and General Alcazar are no less active.

These physical activities, which are crucial for driving the plot forward, have become an integral part of our culture of leisure – now a culture of not-so-leisurely recreation.

What was once something functional has become an enjoyable pastime!
