Delia Owens is a wildlife researcher, biologist, doctor of philosophy, author of popular books about the animal world. She worked in Africa: in the Kalahari desert, Botswana, Zambia. She published her research in Nature, Journal of Mammalogy, Animal Behavior and African Journal of Ecology, wrote articles for Natural History and International Wildlife. Co-founder of the Wildlife Foundation in Stone Mountain, Georgia. “Where the Crawdads Sing” is Delia’s first novel, which topped The New York Times bestseller list for two years.)
